Evaluation of Groundwater Resources in Plain Oasis Area of Jiashi County in Xinjiang
In order to support the high-quality economic and social development of Jiashi County and achieve the sustainable utilization of water resources,this paper investigates the groundwater resource endowment conditions and distribution patterns in the region.It also provides a reasonable evaluation of the groundwater resources and exploitable volume in the plain area of Jiashi County.The results show that the current groundwater extraction in the plain area of Jiashi County is in a negative balance state.The total groundwater resources in the plain area amount to 147 million cubic meters,with 165 million cubic meters of freshwater(with a salinity of less than 2g/L)available for exploitation,and 483 million cubic meters of saline water(with a salinity greater than 2g/L)available for use.The findings provide an important reference for the future rational exploitation of groundwater resources in Jiashi County.
