Comprehensive Evaluation of Water Resources Utilization and Management in Gansu Province
To examine the status of water resources in Gansu Province and assess the efficiency and effectiveness of their comprehensive utilization,the Analytic Hierarchy Process is employed to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the economic,social and water resources utilization dimensions in Gansu Province from 2010 to 2020.The results indicate significant or highly significant positive correlations between the total water resources of Gansu Province and factors such as precipitation,surface water resources,inflow(outflow)water volume and groundwater resources.The total water consumption exhibited a declining trend over the years,with the main influencing factors being irrigation in surface water for agricultural purposes,irrigation in groundwater for agricultural purposes,and urban public water consumption in surface water.The average score for comprehensive development and utilization of water resources was 0.557,indicating a moderate level nationally.The average score for socio-economic conditions was 0.176,indicating a relatively lower level nationally.The average score for water resources conditions was 0.381,also indicating a moderate level nationally.
