Analysis and Reflections on the Utilization of Unconventional Water Resources in Zhenfeng County of Guizhou Province
The southwestern region of China is rich in water resources, but their spatial and temporal distribution is highly uneven. The total amount of regional water resources and the volume available for development and utilization are limited, making it difficult to simultaneously meet the water demands for economic and social development,as well as the needs for water ecology and the water environment. To optimize the allocation of water resources and promote the development and utilization of unconventional water resources in water-abundant areas of the Southwest,it is necessary to address the prominent supply-demand imbalances of regional water resources.Taking Zhenfeng County in Guizhou Province as an example, this paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the development and utilization of unconventional water resources from multiple perspectives, including policy systems, planning and evaluation, infrastructure development, and degree of recognition and importance.Targeted solutions are proposed, providing reference and guidance for advancing the development and utilization of unconventional water resources.
