Long-term and stable funding guarantee is a prerequisite and necessary condition for the smooth im-plementation of ancient book protection work.In order to better preserve,protect,and utilize the precious ancient books that carry Chinese civilization,this article focuses on the issue of funding for the protection of ancient books.By analyzing the current policies and systems related to the protection of ancient books in China,this pa-per investigates the current situation and demand for protection funds for ancient books in China,analyzes the deep-seated reasons that affect the protection funds for ancient books,and proposes suggestions for the formula-tion of relevant funding policies in the next step.1 tab.28 refs.
