The innovative development of reading therapy coincides with the opportunities of the era when the na-tional health strategy is further promoted,the medical model is transformed,the social demand for mental health services is strong,and the nationwide reading promotion has become the mainstream of library services.However,it also faces serious challenges such as the locking of disciplinary identity,lagging construction of basic condi-tions,and insufficient research on business processes and technologies.As the main front of the implementation of reading therapy and national reading promotion,libraries should take effective measures to grasp the opportunities of the times,meet new challenges,seek new breakthroughs,and realize the innovative development of reading ther-apy,such as strengthening publicity work,strengthening the construction of basic conditions,constructing the prac-tical model for reading therapy,strengthening the research of business processes and key technologies.2 figs.1 tab.23 refs.
