Building an Equal and Orderly Multipolar World:Theories and Approaches
As the evolution of changes with a magnitude unseen in a century is accelerating across the world,a significant shift is taking place in the international balance of power with the rapid rise of the Global South,which has profoundly affected the course of world history.Most members of the international community favor a multipolar world and believe that the world cannot return to the old way of bloc confrontation and zero-sum games,let alone repeat the mistakes of war and conflicts.However,a consensus is yet to emerge on how multipolarity will develop and how different countries will participate in and contribute to it.At this historic turning point,China calls for an equal and orderly multipolar world,forges international consensus,and points out the path from chaos to long-term peace and stability,which has injected strong impetus into the building of a new type of international relations based on win-win cooperation and paved the way for a just and reasonable global governance system and the community with a shared future for mankind.
