Development Trends and Prospects of India's Semiconductor Industry
By exaggerating the conflict of values and hyping up the issue of supply chain security,the United States is pushing forward the so-called"democratic technology alliance"based on a geopolitical agenda.As an important target of the US charm offensive,India has taken multiple measures to actively develop its own semiconductor industry.The moves aim to facilitate the country's industrial transition and strengthen the resilience of its supply chain,while taking advantage of the US strategic competition against China.India has made some progress in improving the ecosystem of its semiconductor industry,but due to constraints such as insufficient supporting conditions,uncertainties in the degree of assistance from the US,and its own supply chain dependence on China,India's semiconductor development still has a long way to go.Despite this,the US squeeze in the upstream of the supply chain and the catch-up of India in the downstream of the supply chain may put China's semiconductor industry under simultaneous pressure in both directions.
