China-Africa Digital Cooperation:Progress,Challenges,and Paths
Under the new wave of the Fourth Industrial Revolution,the digital development needs of China and Africa are increasingly aligned.The construction of the African Continental Free Trade Area promotes regional market integration and data flow,providing momentum for China-Africa digital cooperation.Comprehensive progress is being made in policy alignment and practical in areas such as the digital economy,digital innovation,digital transformation,digital infrastructure,digital capabilities,and digital security cooperation.However,due to the lag in Africa's digital capacity building,China-Africa digital cooperation projects face challenges in technical adaptation and sustainability during implementation,and the intensifying digital competition among other actors in Africa further complicates the situation.Looking ahead,China and Africa should enhance Africa's digital capabilities through multiple avenues,drive the sustainable development of China-Africa digital cooperation with new productive forces,jointly build a digital civilization,and write a new chapter in the construction of an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future in the new era.
