The Creative Transformation and Innovative Development of China's Traditional Legal Culture
China's traditional legal culture is universal and common,advanced and civilized,practical and popular,and conforms to the universal law,common values and scientific rationale of the development of rule of law.To promote the creative transformation and innovative development of China's traditional legal culture,we should highlight and strengthen the comparative research on the transformation of the Chinese legal system and its integration with extra-territorial legal cultures from other countries and regions,thus constructing a road that takes into consideration of both"learning from the experience of other countries"and"pursuing the creative transformation and innovative development"of China's own legal knowledge system.We should remain committed to combining the basic principles of Marxist rule of law with the legal practice in China and with China's traditional legal culture,so as to promote the organic integration of"Traditional-Chinese-medicine jurisprudence"with"Western-medicine jurisprudence"and thus to open up a new realm of modern Chinese legal culture.
