The Economic Background and Historical Development of Chinese Modernization
The economy is the starting point for modernization in all countries of the world,and the economic base is a prerequisite for the choice of the path of modernization in each country.China's conception of modernization is from Four Modernizations,Chinese-style modernization to Chinese modernization.These conceptions embody the ideals and practices of several generations of Chinese Communists,and also a contribution of the Chinese nation to world civilization and human development.This paper explains the economic background and historical development of the Chinese path to modernization,and analyzes the historical inevitability of China's choice of development path and its significance.The Four Modernizations are goals that the founders of the People's Republic of China chose for the country in their exploration of building a great socialist country.The Chinese-style Modernization has explored a realistic path for achieving the goals of Four Modernizations,and built a solid material and cultural foundation for the construction of a strong China and achieving national rejuvenation.The Chinese modernization manifests a new stage of historical evolution,a new journey in reform and opening-up,a new chapter of social development,a new realm of human civilization,and a new pattern of world peace,and reaches a new historical,theoretical and practical height.
