Measurement Index System and Evaluation of Chinese Path to Modernization
Chinese modernization is socialist modernization under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,and it is modernization aimed at realizing the comprehensive development of human beings and the common prosperity of all people.This paper aims to construct an indicator system that can fully reflect the characteristics and connotations of Chinese modernization from five dimensions:economic development,social progress,cultural construction,ecological civilization,and modernization of people.And on this basis,focusing on the coupling and coordination degree of the above five dimensions of modernization indexes,it systematically measures the situation and challenges of the balanced and coordinated development of Chinese modernization since the new era.After calculation and analysis,this paper concludes that the coupling and coordination degree in various sectors of Chinese modernization has significantly improved since the new era.However,there is room for further improvement in the harmonization of economy and society,economy and culture,economy and people,and society and culture.
