Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has conducted profound thinking and systematic study on major theoretical and practical issues related to the economic development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era while combining Marxism with the practice of socialist economy with Chinese characteristics,and put forward a series of new concepts,ideas,and strategies in a creative way,which forms into Xi Jinping's Economic Thought.This paper elaborates the core essence of Xi Jinping's economic thought from several aspects,including the correct direction of China's economic development in the new era,the philosophy of economic development in the new era,and the initiatives to promote the economic development.
