Modern state is a special form of the state,and national construction is an important element in the modern transformation of the Chinese state form.Raising the national awareness,national consciousness,state-nation consciousness and national identity of members of society is the core task of national construction.A major significance of the construction of community for the Chinese nation is that it has maintained national unity and political solidarity,completely ended the scattered situation of the old China,and made the new China a political community with strong cohesion and centripetal force,which to a high extent solved China's collective action problem as a large scale country,enabled the state to mobilize all its forces to the maximum extent to achieve the national development strategic objectives,allocated all kinds of resources and integrated multiple interests in the state within the territory effectively based on the principle of maximizing the public interest.From the perspective of modernization development,the modern transformation of the Chinese state form has not yet been completed,and the construction of community for the Chinese nation will continue to develop.
