With the continuous development of new engineering and engineering education certification,the engineering education in Chinese universities is also actively reforming,striving to cultivate first-class engineering and technical talents.This paper compares the undergraduate training programs and curriculum settings of Environmental Engineering major between domestic(Tsinghua University,Tongji University)and some top universities in the United States of America,United Kingdom of Britain,and Australia.The training concepts and objectives of Environmental Engineering professionals in the above countries were investigated,and the training styles were summarized.Finally,some reasonable suggestions and reform countermeasures are put forward to improve the quality of Environmental Engineering talents cultivation in China.
