Ideological and political education is the core idea for colleges and universities to carry out course construction and teaching activities.College teachers should promote the ideological and political construction and reform of the course through deeply tapping the ideological and political elements of the course,fusing professional knowledge,and running the ideological and political education through the whole teaching process.Taking the course of Veterinary Parasitology as an example,this paper discusses the tapping way of ideological and political elements of the course,introduces the practical and evaluation methods of ideological and political education in the blended teaching model and summarizes the experience and shortcomings of ideological and political education in the course.This study provides a reference for the ideological and political teaching reform of specialized courses.
