For the Building Materials course,the course has the characteristics of both theory and practice,and many knowledge points.However,most of the current Building Materials course structure and course content lack systematic and in-depth research,and there are generally disadvantages such as the course setting is not scientific enough,and some knowledge content in the teaching materials is outdated.This paper deeply analyzes the current situation of Building Materials courses in colleges and universities through investigation and research and teachers'teaching experience,and points out the existing problems and areas for improvement.By using the Internet as a tool,five suggestions are put forward,including establishing a practical teaching system for building materials,establishing an extracurricular network platform,encouraging students to participate in scientific research projects,changing the existing course assessment methods,and establishing an international platform.Finally,the teaching reform effect is analyzed.This paperhas a certain guiding effect on the teaching reform of applied undergraduate Building Materials course.
