This paper analyzed the faced international teaching challenges of reinforced concrete structures in the background of"the Belt and Road"Initiative,and the traditional teaching methodology of reinforced concrete structures is required to be improved.This paper firstly analyzed the different components of international students of Department of Civil Engineering in Tianjin University and the differences in different design codes of different countries for the reinforced-concrete-structure teaching,analyzing the characteristics of the taught courses of Reinforced Concrete Structure Design and English course,Advanced Reinforced Concrete Structures,proposing the teaching methodologies of enhancing curriculum ideology and politics,enriching teaching methods,emphasizing practice base,adjusting multi-purpose teaching contents,and using multiple assessment methods.These measures aim to improving the teaching quality of reinforced concrete structures,improving the quality of Chinese and foreign students'training,enhancing the quality of Chinese and foreign students'talent training,and help China's"the Belt and Road"development and construction.
