In the current higher education reform,the leading role of ideological and political elements is increasingly prominent.Taking the overview of beam bridge project as an example,this paper explores how to integrate ideological and political elements into course teaching and achieve people-oriented teaching goals.Firstly,the importance of ideological and political elements in higher education reform is introduced.Then,from the perspectives of teaching goal design,teaching content design,learning situation analysis,and learning situation optimization,the people-oriented Bridge Engineering teaching design concept under the guidance of ideological and political elements is expounded in detail.The integration of ideological and political elements helps students to establish a correct value and outlook on life,enhance social responsibility and professional ethics,and improve overall quality and competitiveness.It is of great significance for cultivating civil engineering professionals with patriotism and an international perspective.
