In the digital age,the course of Statistical Computation confronts an array of novel challenges and opportunities,especially concerning ideological and political education within the curriculum.With the widespread adoption of emerging technologies like big data,artificial intelligence,cloud computing,and ChatGPT,both teaching content and methods need to evolve in response.However,this transformation might inadvertently overshadow the significance of ideological education,leading students to overly rely on technology and thereby lacking critical thinking and moral values.Furthermore,it is noteworthy that in a digital environment,students are more susceptible to non-mainstream or extremist ideologies.To address these concerns,this paper proposes:Integrating ideological content harmoniously with professional skills during course design;Utilizing digital platforms effectively for ideological education,such as online discussions and case studies;Strengthening the training and development of the teaching staff to enhance their capability in imparting ideological education in a digital context.This research offers valuable insights into the new challenges faced by the statistical computation curriculum regarding ideological and political education and serves as a reference for future educational reforms and innovations.
