Under the construction of healthy China and New Medical Education,the teaching of medical statistics course,which provides experimental design and statistical analysis methods for clinical medicine and public health,faces many difficulties and it needs new exploration and practice to meet the current requirements.Based on years of teaching practice and experience in medical statistics and experimental design,this paper systematically analyzes the main reasons for the poor teaching effect of medical statistics,including the following aspects:insufficient attention to medical statistics in medical education,both books and teachers uncorrelated with teaching needs,simple teaching mode and insufficient enthusiasm of students.And then it puts forward to the reform in teaching idea of"six in one",including strengthening ideological and political education and paying more attention to medical statistics,revealing the new needs of medical statistics based on New Medical Education,clarifying curriculum objectives,optimizing the knowledge structure of teachers,remodeling teaching contents,reforming teaching method and strengthening process management,to meet the teaching reform ideas and measures of medical statistics course in the construction of new medicine education.
