Economics has become a well-known discipline with a large number of learners.Beginners feel economics is difficult and the easy to forget.The main reason is that teachers can not apply western economic methodology well,so the students will find Western economics is difficult.This paper expounds the main methods of western economics,points out the hierarchical relations among them,and illustrates the developing process of economic methods.We should pay attention to methodology in teaching and learning,the main aim is to improve the level of study of economics.
