In the post-pandemic era, college students face challenges such as a weak professional foundation, limited communication skills, and a lack of innovation and entrepreneurship awareness. These obstacles pose significant difficulties in nurturing innovative and entrepreneurial talents. To address these issues,a training model for cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial abilities in engineering majors is proposed. This model leverages the unique strengths of university professors and industry professionals to enhance the quality of talent development and increase the success rate of entrepreneurial endeavors.By conducting an in-depth exploration of the fundamental theories of evaluating innovation and entrepreneurship abilities and incorporating key theoretical frameworks,a pyramid-based evaluation system is established. This system ensures the stability and reliability of talent assessment, providing a solid foundation for refining and enhancing the training model.
