The modern animal breeding husbandry became more intensive,and intelligent in our country recent years.New and higher requirements were demanded for veterinary medical students in professional knowledge structure,and problem-solving ability.What's more,it is a new challenge to cultivate applied veterinarians in Veterinary Medicine Program.Our group has analyzed the problems in the current training program,teaching content and teaching methods.Many professional curriculum system and knowledge system were reconstructed basing on the actual needs in modern animal breeding husbandry,such as the optimized academic assessment methods and contents,and the improved assessment and feedback mechanism.Remarkable achievements have been obtained in veterinary talents cultivation using the new training model after 3 years,which provide some reference for the reform of outstanding veterinary talents cultivation in China.
