The educational goal of industry-featured universities should be oriented to the specific industry subsidiary together with other areas in order to take account of the school characteristics, the need of local development and individual development.Accordingly, the industry-featured courses are mainly optional rather than compulsory and only one or two compulsory industry-featured courses are needed, which are abouttwo credits and account for 10%of all the compulsory courses. The industry-featured courses should be both of the industry knowledge and of industry translation, all of which are taken in the right order in different semesters.Lastly, the educational activities such as the remedial courses, literature reading, academic lectures and the translation practice should be highly valued to offset the deficiency of the course education.
