Under the background that blended teaching will become the new inevitable trend in higher education,the ideological and political education of curricula should achieve online and offline integration in curriculum objectives,curriculum design,and curriculum evaluation,so as to unify the explicit and implicit education in English major moral education.This paper,taking Extensive Reading as example,discusses the integration and implementation of ideological and political education goals in English major education in three aspects:the integration of moral education into curriculum goals,the integration of ideological and political elements into curriculum design,and the explication of ideological and political functions in teaching evaluation.It further analyzes the teaching effect and reflects on the coordination of foreign language teaching and ideological and political education.
