The paper analyzing the existing problems in the process of course teaching of Mechanics of Materials for regular higher educational institutions under engineering education certification,in this paper,the teaching reform project of the course is presented on the basis of the differentiated teaching system which consists of teaching target,teaching process and teaching assessment.In the project,the corresponding differentiated teaching methods are presented according to three class stage(before class,in class and after class).The simulating experiment teaching based on three modules and three hierarchical structures are proposed,and the differentiated course assessment modes of mechanics of materials are constructed.
