The postgraduate training in civil engineering plays a crucial role in promoting technological innovation and sustainable development in the industry.This research utilized CiteSpace software to visually analyze 192 documents on postgraduate training in civil engineering published by China National Knowledge Infrastructure from 2003 to 2023.Through an in-depth exploration of the development process of this field,the current core focuses are identified as scientific research innovation,engineering practice,international perspective,and interdisciplinary training.In addition,this study emphasizes the importance of communication and collaboration among document authors and proposes the continuous optimization of training methods,especially the urgent need to expand the research team size and promote cross-regional cooperation,thereby providing guidance for optimizing the training strategy of postgraduates in civil engineering.
