Traditional villages are the important carriers of our agricultural civilization and the main support of rural revitalization.At present,there is a lack of systematic teaching content of traditional villages planning and design in the course system of Village Planning and Design in colleges and universities in our country.In order to enrich and perfect the curriculum system of Rural Planning and Design and adapt to the reform of rural planning specialty,this paper reviews the content and characteristics of the current curriculum of Rural Planning and Design in domestic universities,probes into the value and significance of the application of the traditional village landscape gene in the course of Rural Planning and Design in colleges and universities,clarifies the relationship between the two,and constructs the teaching content system of the traditional village landscape gene.The purpose of this paper is to provide some reference for the teaching of rural planning and design.
