Under the background of the construction of new engineering,the teaching of engineering majors in colleges and universities is facing the reform demand of promoting interdisciplinary integration and comprehensive ability training,among which the importance of the reform of professional elective courses is particularly prominent.However,there are usually some pain points in the teaching of professional elective courses,such as lack of practicality,lack of innovation and lack of testing.The OBE concept emphasizes that education should be output-oriented,especially for the construction of new engineering.Therefore,drawing on the four steps of OBE concept definition,implementation,evaluation and use of learning output,the reform path of professional elective courses is constructed,and four methods of joint creation,hook interaction,dynamic monitoring and two-way connection are proposed.Taking the"Urban Road and Transportation"course of architecture major of Yangzhou University as an example,the teaching reform practice is carried out.
