Curriculum ideological and political education is an important way and a crucial guarantee to carry out the fundamental task of fostering virtues of young students in Chinese universities.Organometallic Chemistry is a central course for graduate students majoring in chemistry in which the course content is abundant,deep,complex and comprehensive.Based on the author's experience,this paper discusses the measures and effects of ideological and political education in the teaching practice of Organometallic Chemistry from these aspects:the selection and arrangement of ideological and political content,the introduction and integration of teaching team,the diversification of teaching methods and evaluation methods.The study hopes that these practical results will be beneficial for the construction of ideological and political education system in the cultivation of chemistry graduate students.
