This paper takes newly established undergraduate colleges as the research object and explores the role and value of research-based clubs in talent cultivation.The five-year cultivation practice of the research society(Intelligent Computing Group)has been found to significantly enhance the comprehensive quality of students,cultivating their innovative spirit,improving their practical ability,and strengthening their teamwork ability.Finally,specific practical strategies are proposed according to the problems arising from the research society's talent cultivation process.These practical strategies have essential reference value for the talent cultivation of new undergraduate colleges and universities.
