Cultural self-confidence is the more basic,extensive and profound self-confidence of the"four self-confidences"and the basis for realizing China's socialist modernization.Cultural self-confidence in the context of multiculturalism has a variety of meanings and requirements.We clarify the necessity of strengthening cultural self-confidence in ideological and political education in colleges and universities through understanding cultural self-confidence and the current situation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,in-depth understanding of the problems existing in Chinese self-confidence and ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Under the current multicultural background,we put forward the paths and countermeasures to strengthen the cultural self-confidence of college students through ideological and political education in colleges and universities by integrating cultural self-confidence with ideological and political education in colleges and universities,strengthening the construction of ideological and political education teachers,optimizing the cultural and educational environment of schools,changing the content and form of ideological and political education,and increasing innovative educational ideas.
