Environmental Geography is a compulsory course of Geography in the School of Geography and Tourism in the Anhui Normal University.It is significant important to explore the teaching practice of this course to guide the construction of curriculum system of Geography in the Anhui Normal University.Based on sorting out the curriculum characteristics of environmental geography,the curriculum objectives of Environmental Geography are formulated,and this curriculum system is explored and constructed from the aspects of teaching conception,teaching content,teaching methods,curriculum ideological and political design.The construction of the curriculum system can enhance the cognition of the change process of geographical environment under the influence of human activities and the role of man-land relationships in geographical space,broaden the frontier knowledge and international vision of Environmental Geography and its interdisciplinary disciplines,and improve students'practical analysis ability and communication ability.Meanwhile,digging and refining the ideological and political elements of the course can also play an important role in enhancing students'national pride,cultural confidence,strengthening national consciousness,and establishing correct outlook on life and values.
