In order to adapt to the new development trend of surveying and mapping,comparing to the reform requirements for the cultivation of new engineering talents in colleges and universities in the new period,aiming at the key and difficult problems existing in the surveying course teaching of non-surveying and mapping major,combined with the teaching reform practice of non-surveying and mapping major in Southwest University,this paper puts forward the teaching reform and innovation plan of"five dimensions in one"Surveying course under the background of new engineering.It provides reference for multi-dimensional and systematic promotion of surveying curriculum construction and training quality improvement of non-surveying professionals.
