For freshmen majoring in science in colleges and universities,if they only master the elementary mathematics taught in middle school,it is difficult to explore the advanced mathematics taught in colleges and universities.Therefore,the teaching of Advanced Mathematics should pay attention to the bridging teaching from elementary mathematics to advanced mathematics.In the transition period,students should be guided to form correct thinking.This paper takes the teaching of limit content in Advanced Mathematics as an example to analyze the problems existing in students'learning of the concept of limit and solving it at this stage,and guides students to gradually form thinking about limits,so as to lay a good foundation for students'future learning and scientific research.
