This paper proposes to integrate humanistic elements into the classroom and reform the curriculum with the OBE teaching concept.This course is a theoretical and practical module elective course for environment and drainage majors.OBE is a new educational concept based on students and using reverse thinking.For example,the integration of history,culture,education and politics can increase the interest of the classroom.The reform aims to train senior engineering and technical personnel in the field of environment.The practical results show that after OBE concept is applied to actual classroom,teachers are more oriented--focusing on the cultivation of students'ability to solve practical problems.In class,students'understanding of the course is significantly deepened after integrating humanistic elements.Therefore,the practice of this model has a positive impact on students to improve their comprehensive quality,learn other courses,cultivate environmental protection concepts and enhance their innovation ability,and can better meet the requirements of international engineering education for professional elective courses in the new era.
