Big Data Analysis is a mandatory course under the background of new engineering,focusing on enabling students to equip with methods for analyzing big data,enable them to proficiently utilize big data software in order to intelligently process and extract value from data.This paper takes the course as an example and highlights the challenges faced in traditional teaching methods,such as outdated theoretical knowledge,low student participation,and weak practical skills in Big Data Analysis.To address these challenges,four approaches were explored:expanding the teaching content,introducing practical case studies,promoting university-industry collaboration,and implementing practical evaluation methods.By adopting these approaches,this course has been successful in keeping up with the latest developments,cultivating students'innovative thinking and enhancing their practical ability can lay a solid foundation for students'future career development.Practice has proved that this curriculum reform is more adaptable to the development of the times and can train more talents to meet the needs of social development.
