Integrate ideological and political work throughout the entire process of education and teaching,and create a new situation for the development of higher education in our country.College students,as the builders and successors of the new era,are particularly important to start civics education when they enter the threshold of university.Introduction to Civil Engineering,as an introductory course for civil engineering majors,is a core focus of this process.This paper aims to guide civics education in undergraduate courses,under the background of the development of the Internet in the new era,and to explore the construction of civics education in a"MOOC+Rain Classroom"discussion-based course through blended learning.The study introduces the specific teaching design and implementation process under this model.This paper provides ideas for the construction of civics education courses in blended learning,which can serve as a reference for the course construction of civil engineering majors.
