With the continuous advancement of ecological civilization construction, the comprehensive management of mining areas has attracted increasing attention. This study aims to design and implement Virtual Simulation Experimental course platform for typical applications of UAV three-dimensional reality,to address environmental disaster issues in mineral resource development and cultivate new types of surveying and mapping technology talents. The platform is based on open-source WebGIS technology and integrates teaching content such as UAV three-dimensional reality technology, data collection and processing, intelligent monitoring applications, and large-scale project planning, achieving an orderly integration of the entire chain.Through virtual simulation experiments, students can operate independently on the computer browser to complete a series of tasks from data collection to project management, effectively solving the problems existing in traditional experimental teaching. This study has also constructed a multidimensional evaluation method to comprehensively enhance students'theoretical understanding, practical operation, and innovative ability. The curriculum content not only covers the technology of large-scale mining monitoring but also includes rich curriculum ideological and political elements, which helps to cultivate students'sense of social responsibility, innovative spirit, and practical ability.Research results show that the virtual simulation experimental platform can significantly improve students'technical ability and innovative literacy, providing strong talent support for the modernization of natural resource management.
