Given that the thinking of graduate students tends to be mature and it is difficult for the acceptance of ideological and political education in the curriculum course,this study constructs a novel path for integrating ideological and political education into theoretical courses for graduate students based on the combination of learning and thinking.It combines teachers'lectures with guiding students to think actively,which has been applied in the core course Environmental Toxicology and Health Risk for graduate students majoring in Environmental Science and Engineering.During the learning of basic knowledge,an atmosphere for ideological and political education in the course was constructed by utilizing images,audio,and video materials with ideological and political elements.The path transforms passive acceptance of ideological and political education into active thinking through the course projects featuring the characteristics of ideological and political education,organized as teacher guidance,individual exploration,group discussion,and group presentations.The mutual enhancement of professional knowledge and innovative capabilities effectively promotes the integration of ideological and political elements.This approach will enhance the acceptance of the ideological and political content for graduate students.
