Detection Technology and Instrumentation,as an automation undergraduate professional course,not only undertakes the responsibility of teaching detection-related knowledge and improving comprehensive practical ability,but also carries the important task of cultivating the excellent ideological and moral quality of students majoring in automation.In this paper,according to the teaching content and course characteristics of Detection Technology and Instrumentation,an ideological and political case library containing patriotism,scientific spirit,craftsman spirit,humanistic care and other elements is designed.Through the integration of professional knowledge and ideological and political elements,it lays the foundation for promoting the ideological and political education of automation professionals,and cultivates all-round development of automation talents for the future industrial and social development.
