To effectively establish a system of ideological and political education(IPE)in the graduate curriculum of fundamental materials science,we have delved deeply into the curriculum content and innovated teaching methods,achieving an organic integration of knowledge imparting and value guidance.This process has focused on three key aspects:the importance of IPE in graduate education,the characteristics of the fundamental materials science graduate curriculum,and the construction and exploration of the IPE system for this curriculum.We have proposed design principles and implementation strategies for curriculum-based IPE,emphasizing the integration of IPE and professional education to promote the comprehensive development of students.The research outcomes not only enrich the theoretical connotation of IPE but also provide practical guidance for the implementation of IPE in the fundamental materials science graduate curriculum.
