New Humanities is an innovative exploration to build a strong higher education country.As an emerging major,the major of big data management and application has not yet gained mature experience in professional construction.As a characteristic institution in the energy industry,China University of Mining and Technology(Beijing)takes the construction of the Big Data Management and Application major in its School of Management.We focus on it as an example to analyze the construction path of the big data major,in order to maximize construction efficiency under limited resource constraints.
