Scientific paper writing is an important course in higher education for graduate students and senior undergraduates in science and engineering.In view of the problems existing in the teaching content arrangement of scientific paper writing course,combined with the teaching practice in recent years,the course content design is reformed with the goal of strengthening the cultivation of innovative thinking and research ability.The course content is reconstructed into four modules:condensation of scientific problems,characteristics of scientific papers,types and presentations of innovative points,and structure and wholeness of scientific papers.The main points of each part of teaching content are also discussed.It provides a reference for the teaching content design of cultivating research-oriented talents in the new era.
