Course ideological and political education refers to the integration of ideological and political education into various aspects of course teaching and reform in universities.It is a comprehensive educational concept that regards"cultivating morality and nurturing talents"as the fundamental task of education.Theoretical Mechanics,as an important technical foundation course in engineering colleges and universities,is the foundation of various mechanics courses and has a wide range of applications in many engineering and technical fields.In order to fully utilize the characteristics and advantages of theoretical mechanics courses and explore the ideological and political elements contained in the curriculum,based on Guidelines for the Construction of Ideological and Political Education in Higher Education Curriculum,this article explores the ideological and political elements in each chapter of the course content of Theoretical Mechanics.It has made teaching design and practice for the integration of ideological and political education with teaching objectives.
