智慧城市发展背景下地理信息系统原理课程改革探索

智慧城市的兴起给地理信息科学、人文地理学等学科发展和人才培养带来机遇和挑战.地理信息系统(Geographic Infor-mation Science,GIS)原理教学是多个学科人才培养的重要环节,但目前的课程教学方法具有一定的局限性,无法满足智慧城市发展背景下的人才培养任务和要求.该文重点探究在智慧城市发展背景下的地理信息系统原理课程教学改革设想,包括理论教学内容设计、实际操作能力培养、师资结构优化等方面.期望通过这些措施的实践,为地理信息科学、城市地理学等领域培养更多具备智慧城市建设素养和GIS技术能力的综合型人才.
The rise of smart cities presents both opportunities and challenges for the development and talent cultivation in disciplines such as Geographic Information Science(GIS)and human geography.The teaching of Principles of Geographic Information Systems is a crucial component in nurturing talents across various disciplines.However,the current methods of course instruction have certain limitations and fall short of meeting the demands and requirements for talent development in the context of smart city development.This paper focuses on exploring potential reforms in the teaching of Principles of Geographic Information Systems in the backdrop of smart city development,which includes the design of theoretical content,the cultivation of practical operational skills,and the optimization of faculty structure.This study hopesthat the implementation of these measures will contribute to the cultivation of comprehensive talents in the fields of Geographic Information Science and urban geography,which are with competencies in smart city development and GIS technology skills.
