The comprehensive promotion of ideological and political education in college courses serves as a strategic measure to strengthen ideological and political work and implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and fostering talents.Taking the"Geographic Information System"course in the major of land resource management as an example,this paper explores relevant theoretical and practical issues in the context of the reform of ideological and political education in courses.The paper first analyzes the goals and positioning of ideological and political education in the Geographic Information System course,emphasizing its fundamental role in the curriculum system of Land Resource Management majors.Subsequently,it proposes reform ideas for ideological and political education in Geographic Information System course and explores teaching reforms from four aspects:mining ideological and political elements,innovating teaching models,improving teaching methods,and enhancing evaluation systems.Finally,through specific teaching practice cases of ideological and political education in courses,the paper elaborates on the integration strategies between ideological and political elements and professional knowledge points,aiming to provide experiential and theoretical references for the teaching practice of ideological and political education in Land Resource Management courses.
