Under the background of the construction of a national first-class major in Urban Underground Space Engineering at Nanjing University of Technology,this paper explores the key and difficult issues facing the reform of basic engineering course teaching.The paper discusses the teaching design and content organization structure of the course,including systematic internalization and generation of ideological and political elements,integrated teaching mode design,modular teaching content organization,and diverse teaching methods.A relatively complete course teaching system has been formed,highlighting professional characteristics and helping to achieve the goal of first-class course construction.
