In order to comprehensively improve the health quality of the Chinese Nation,actively participate in global health governance,and truly fulfill the international commitments of the"2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development",the Chinese government has proposed"The Healthy China Initiative".To meet the development needs of education and technological innovation in the field of environment from a"One Health"perspective,updating educational ideas,talent cultivation models,and vision enhancement paths have become a trend of the times.This paper thereupon analyzes the relationship between"One Health"and soil environmental health,explores the guiding significance of soil environmental health for teaching in the Environmental Soil Science course,and proposes a teaching reform idea for this course.The teaching reform measures mainly includes the construction of a knowledge system for cultivating inter-disciplinary talents based on the concept of"One Health",the expansion of practical skills for application-oriented personnel in the training systems of production,academia and research integration,and the optimization of the course assessment and evaluation systems with modern information means.It expects to achieve the goals of greatly improving teaching effectiveness,enhancing students'comprehensive quality,and meeting the social demand for talents in the field of environmental science and engineering.
