Mechanical Design Fundamental is one of professional basic course of the engineering major courses.According to the background of carryingout political education in the course,the most significant questions are how to find reliable political elements within plenty of logical knowledge points and how to integrate into class-teaching by particular type and methodology.This paper presents the refining process of political elements on the basis of the chapter"Screws and Bolts",then discusses the combination of political elements and class-teaching process,and finally concludes the research of teaching methodology on the political education in the course according to case studies.The conclusion of the paper can be considered as a reference for the political education of other engineering course.
